Hello Everyone:

I am new to WordPress and I just wanted to blog to the world and let myself be known. I have a very good friend of mine, who told me that this would be a good idea to blog on a site outside of Myspace or Facebook or anything like that. So here I am in the WordPress world. So let me tell you a little about myself.

I am happily married and I have been for 7 1/2 years.
We have two beautiful baby girls. Both 2 and 6 years old.
I am a newly published author, who lives in California.
I am originally from New York.
I have two books that I will be publishing this year. The first published book is a poetry book called, “Stir Asylum Craziness: Diary of a Paranoid Personality”, which is available now at www.lulu.com/melissacurriewhite . The other book I have that is coming sometime this summer, is a book about my life called “Confessions from a Body Bag: The Memoirs”. I am extremely excited about my works, and I am looking to change lives one person at a time.

Let’s go back to my poetry book, “Stir Asylum Craziness…”. It is a book about my real-life struggles since my being a teenager all the way up into my adulthood. These struggles which are discussed in the book consists of the topics of alcoholism, teenage sex, acceptance (to both society and to one’s self), pain, angry, child abuse, manipulation, anorexia, sexual humor, and even celebrity drama. I have concluded poems in this book collection about the recent incident between Chris Brown/Rihanna, Anna Nicole Smith and even written poems about Robin Givens, Iman and many more celebrities. I am very excited about this book, as I have been working on it for 11 years. You can read excerpts from my book at www.melissacurriewhite.com .

About my autobiography, “Confessions from a Body Bag: The Memoirs”, it is written about the struggles I have suffered after losing a guardian to death (due to natural causes), and trying to find a replacement love, due to my grieving. I had taken the wrong turn into many wrong roads by allowing myself to be taken advantage of by intimate predatory partners, who were illegally over my tender age bracket. Finding ways to get older at a faster rate, and finding ways to be put on everyone’s pedestal as a people-pleaser, I would find myself doing dangerous, promiscuious things just to stay loved by my lovers. I recommend this book to everyone, who has ever been abused or think they have been abused and don’t yet realize it. Despite the blatant side of abuse that a lot of us have come to know, abuse (especially domestic violence and statutory rape) can also come in the most subtle forms, and if you are not looking for it, you won’t really know it’s there. It could pass you by while being innocently and ignorant to it, and it is not the victim’s fault in any way. You can also find excerpts to this book and the press release also at www.melissacurriewhite.com .

So I will keep you well informed on what I am going to be doing all over the web. I have listed a few of my websites above, but here’s one more that you can check for any video updates:

Well, that is all for now. Sayonara and God Bless.
